आंखों में छाई आज फिर से नमी है ।

इसकी वजह तू नहीं सिर्फ तेरी कमी है ।।

यादों के वह मंजर आज भी हरे हैं,

मायूस वो मुझसे तेरी झुकी नजरें हैं ।

बेचैन है रूह मेरी सांसे गुमशुदा सी है,

ईसकी वजह तू नहीं सिर्फ तेरी कमी है ।।

भूले नहीं हम याद है तेरी हर बातें,

वो हंसी वो शरारत और कुछ अनकही मुलाकातें ।

अब लगता है खुश हुए बीते कई सदी है,

इसकी वजह तुम नहीं सिर्फ तेरी कमी है ।।

मन में रहता अजब सा सूनापन है,

जैसे खुद से जुदा मेरी हर धड़कन है ।

ऐसे हालात  किसी को शायद मिली है,

इसकी वजह तू नहीं सिर्फ तेरी कमी है ।।

वह सर्द हवाएं आज भी मदमस्त चलती है,

तेरी गलियों से होकर मुझ तक पहुंचती है ।

ना जाने फिर क्यों मन में तपिश सी रह गई है,

इसकी वजह तू नहीं सिर्फ तेरी कमी है ।।

हुए जो हमसे तुम  नाराज इस कदर,

बीच भंवर में छोड़ गए जैसे मैं  अंजाना और तुम बेखबर ।

इस डूबते को बचा ले शायद ऐसा कोई भी नहीं है,

इसकी वजह तू नहीं सिर्फ तेरी कमी ।।

न जाने क्यों तुझसे ही दिल्लगी की हसरत है,

इस उम्मीद में बिताये हमने ना जाने कितने बरस है ।

 है तुझमे भी कमियां फिर भी तेरी तालाब सी लगी है, 

 इसकी वजह तू नहीं सिर्फ तेरी कमी है ।।

बैठा मैं यूँ  ढूंढ रहा,

वो अल्फाज जिनके सरताज हो तुम ।

किसी तारीफ की मोहताज नहीं, 

तुम जो हो ना, बहुत खास हो तुम ।।

चांद जैसे शीतलता है, नदियों जैसी चंचलता है,

हिमालय जैसा चरित्र तुम्हारा अग्नि जैसी पावनता है ।

तुम्हारी आहट सुन झूम उठते है ये उपवन ।

तुम जो हो ना, बहुत खास हो तुम ।।

सादगी तुम्हें खूब पसंद है,

ऐसा व्यक्तित्व दुनिया में बहुत कम है ।

हो नेक फरिश्ता तुम धरती पर जो करता कभी सितम ,

तुम जो हो ना, बहुत खास हो तुम ।।

हस्ती हो तब फूल झड़ते हैं,

मोर अरण्य में झूम उठते है ।

जब उठे पलकें तुम्हारी, तब बादल हो जाए मगन,

तुम जो हो ना, बहुत खास हो तुम ।।

सुबह की धूप हो या शाम के अंधियारे,

 ये नदियां, ये सागर, वन और उपवन बस तुम्हे पुकारे ।

हर ख्वाहिश, हर मुराद होती तुझ पर खत्म.

कोई शायर जो ना पढ़ सका,

वह कहानी जो ना लिखी गई ।

हर कोशिश में जज्बात थे कम,

बैठा मैं यूँ  ढूंढ रहा,

Khwaabon me tumse jo ijhaar mai kar du,

Udna jo chahoon main teri gati me,

Mil jaye khushi mujhe teri hasi me,

Itni si rah gayi hai khwaahish,
Baaki koi armaan nahi !!

Ek baar mai ro sakoon,
Teri palkon me fir kho sakoon !
Har sajaa ke mai kaabil hoon,
Shaayad mujrim ban kar ji sakoon !!

Darr nahi mujhe jamaane se,
Na ghar se na gharaane se !

Isliye dur rahta hoon !!

Sitting at my place, staring at the door ,
Waiting for the one, whom my heart adores !
Hey.. I can listen to the tiptoe around the floor,
Obviously, it sounds different as if a mermaid approaching the shore !!

My heart has started to beat faster,
It can't hold on without a glimpse of its "MASTER" !
I may pretend to be normal,
Expressing by a smile that is just so formal !
Deep Inside I go crazy,
Can't hide it from you, I am too lazy !!

You pushed the door to enter the floor,
Had you stared into my eyes,
Entire story would have been told !
With every steps that you take,
Fairness of yours like snowflakes !
The background gets fade,
Out of happiness my face turns red !!

It appears as if the time has stopped,
As if this world knows ,
Neither a watch nor a clock !
I wish I could halt you for a second,
For this is what my heart strongly reckons !!

Before you realise,
I wish to get by your side !
Bring my face closer to your ears,
Whispering, "My lady, I have waited for you since years" !
Whatever be you accessories, anything you wear,
I never notice, I don't even care !
Remember those childhood shows symbolising togetherness of two,
You are my "WEENIE" and I shall be your "POOH" !!

It's wonderful to fight and neutralize,
For it allows strangers to know each others better sides !!

They are elements of ego and unknown false prides,
For those are hindrances !
In settling the bitterness,
And letting two people sit beside !!

Their have been fond memories,
And we have shared some giggles!
But trust me my stranger,
Without those  now life looks so meager !!


Though mistakes were committed,
But, its not just you who has cried !
Realising the pain inflicted upon you,
Now it's too hard for me to survive !!


You always complain that I hurt you so much, now and then,
But there is a realisation in this very statement !
We never get hurt by strangers but through our faithfuls,
And this is the part of story that is so painful !!

I have been so stupid,
Troubling you so far !
But you always cared for me,
Welcomed me every time with an open heart !!

It's too hard to imagine,
Losing a person like you !
Just out of my foolishness,
I believe you don't even want that too !!

I may be brazen, very rude,
But deep inside you know that !
This idiot who often hurts me,

There are lost hopes, certain despairs,
